HILLSBORO, Ind. (CNS) — Services will be at 10:30 a.m. EST Tuesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home for Mrs. Alta Lucas, 76, of Hillsboro, who died Saturday morning (Feb. 12, 1972) at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. The Rev. Walter C. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Wingate. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Lucas was born in Veedersburg, the daughter of Guy and Anna Elzner Haas. She was first married to Virgil Hamm. She was later married in 1941 to Claude Record who died in 1966. She was married on Feb. 21, 1971, to Claude C. Lucas, who survives. A graduate of Veedersburg High and Madame Blaker's School in Indianapolis, she taught school in Indianapolis, Crawfordsville and Stone Bluff. She served as chairman of the Palm Beach, Fla., Heart Association campaign for many years and was a member of the Fountain County Republican Women's Club and the Daughters of American Revolution. Among the survivors are a brother, William Haas of South Bend and a sister, Miss Ethel Haas of Indianapolis.  --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO — Mrs. Alta Record Lucas, 76, died Saturday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient for one day. She was born Feb. 7, 1895, at Wingate. Surviving are the husband, Claude C.; a son, Carlton B. Hamm of Gaithersburg, Md.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Carolyn L. Tufforn of Bloomington; a brother, Alton Haas of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro.  --typed by Walt W
